Integrated Governance Stack Framework – Status and Scope

The Integrated Governance Stack (IGS) is a governance and auditing framework for AI-integrated operational environments: cases where AI systems interact with human workflows under incomplete information, technical limitations, and time pressure.

IGS prioritizes traceability, failure detection, and shared accountability over static compliance checklists or generalized ethical statements. It is published transparently to reflect how governance systems are built in practice: iteratively, under constraints, and informed by real-world use.

Status: Ongoing development. Documentation is released in sections as they pass review.

Intended Use:
– Governance design, internal oversight, and audit-ready documentation practices
– Defensible decision-making workflows for human-AI collaboration
– Integration of diagnostic failure mode analysis into operational controls

Non-goals:
– Replacement for applicable laws, regulations, or current industry standards
– Certification framework for compliance guarantee
– One-size-fits-all policy template
